Virgo’s objective was to consolidate their multi-component system and complex cabling into one modular, optimized enclosure. This Generation II Virgo design provides an easy set up and non-intrusive user experience. It also allows for the installation of one of three video encoder options that have different Mechanical Control Outlines (MCOs) and one of two I/O panel options depending on the video input.

Over the period of four months, I led the PD engineering efforts in the product design and development process from concept generation to a production-ready package. I took full ownership of the product architecture and system integration while working closely with the cross-functional team members to address mechanical, electrical, thermal, industrial design, and manufacturing requirements.
